When Queen toured with Paul, it was billed as Queen + Paul.
When they gigged with Elton, it was Queen + Elton.
Now they’re doing shows with Adam, and its Queen + Adam.
The press assertion that he’s joining/replacing/touring is nonsense.
Queen dont need a new permanent front man, occasional guests are great, but there is no replacement for Freddie and never will be.
If they were gigging without a guest, I’d still be mowing you down for tickets.
Roger is perfectly capable of singing the songs, he did all the backing vocal after all, and has a very similar range to Adam (Roger can get HIGHER in case you were wondering).
Brian and Roger both have solo albums, they both sing on Queen albums, they dont need a permanent replacement for Freddie, there isnt one.
Stop calling it QueenBert, its not a new band, its Queen with a guest singer. If even Paul Rogers wasn’t billed as part of the band, Adam certainly doesn’t warrent a name change.
